Hi doc... can you please read my husband s semen analysis report and tell me whats the problem if there is any??? Time of Collection 08:35 am Time of testing sample 09:35 am Whole/Partial Whole Liquefaction Normal Volume (ml) 3.5 ml Ph 8.0 Viscosity Normal Total sperm concentration 62.4 Mill/ml Progressive motility (grades a+b) 30 % Non progressive motility (grade c) 9 % Immotile sperms (grade d) 61 % Semen Morphology 6 % Progressive motile sperm concentration 18.6 Mill/ml Functional sperm concentration 2.8 Mill/ml Sperm Velocity 11 micron/sec Sperm motility index 104 Total sperm number 218.4 Million Total motile sperms 65.1 Million Total functional sperm 9.8 Million

Hello

Your findings suggests low motility of sperms.
Normally sperm motility should be at least 55 %.Your findings suggests 61 % immotile sperms.

Sperm count is normal.Normally it should be at least 20 millions/ml.

Besides proper clinical examination,you may need investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,ultrasound of scrotum.

It is important to exclude any surgical reasons for low sperm motility.Ultrasound and clinical examination is helpful.

Take nutritious diet,antioxidants and dos exercise.
If low motility persists then you may need assisted fertilization techniques.

Other findings like semen volume,pH etc are normal.
