Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What does it mean? Findings: there are equivocal densities in the medial lefy upper lung field superiposed on the 3rd posterior rib and T3 transverse process. Impression: apicolordotic view recommended for further evaluation of yje left upper lung field.
Densities in the upper lung fields may be indicative of collapse of one part of the lung due to disease (atelectasis, tuberculosis, COPD, etc) or injury (fracture or trauma). Apicolordotic view means there are certain areas of the lung which need further study and evaluation. In this case, the left upper lung field needs to be evaluated. Get assessed and treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
