What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

Looks like I'm fine except my RDW is higher than it should.... Should I be taking B12 supplements and possible Iron supplements too to help bring this down? Thanks

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
RDW is slightly high, however, since the hemoglobin and hematocrit are within normal range, there is nothing to worry.

Thanks and take care

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Shailja Puri's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
High RDW is not of much consequences since hemoglobin and hematocrit are normal.
You do require vitamin B 12 for mildly increased RDW.

Thanks and take care
