I’m 21 years old. Male. Physically fit. Suffer from low testosterone symptoms (ED, libido, depression etc) Even though my testosterone levels are “normal” they also are in the same level as the average 80 year old man, and far from optimal for a guy at my age. Please take a look at my blood test results, and tell me what you think. (I am noticing high levels of LH, but yet my testosterone is low, does this mean there is something wrong with my testicles?) Free T4 18.9 pmol/L ( 11.0 - 22.0 ) FSH 3.9 IE/L ( 1.0 – 12.0 ) Cortisol 577 nmol/L LH 9.7 IE/L ( 1.0 – 10.0 ) Prolactin 156 mIE/L ( 100 – 400 ) SHBG 18 nmol/L ( 15 – 85 ) Testosterone 15.3 nmol/L ( 9.0 – 35.0 ) TSH 0.66 mIE/L ( 0.30 – 4.2 ) Estradiol 0.09 nmol/L ( 00 – 0.16) Free Testosterone 7.1 ( 3.0 – 14.7 ). (test taken before 10AM) Thank you in advance!
I have gone through your endocrine profile test report, and I did not notice anything abnormal. All your hormones were within the normal range.
We think over a pathological situation if the results would be far from bottom or upper range (which I did not notice in your lab reports).
The test reports are also depending on the technique performed by the lab. Your age (you are too young, only 21 years old) does also matter. You are still going through the development (maturing) stage. So, it is normal to have such oscillations.
Hope it helped!
