C3-C4 DISC SPACE SHOW DISC DESSICATION CHANGE WITH A DISC OSTEOPHYTE COMPLEX CAUSING INDENTATION ON THE THECAL SAC IN A CIRCUMFERENTIAL FASHION BY APPROXIMATELY 0.3CM. THE AP DIAMETER OF THE SAC IS REDUCED TO 0.7 CM SUGGESTING CANAL STENOSIS. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS TO ME?
These findings suggest degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis (DLSS). DLSS is usually caused by degenerative changes in bony and or soft tissue elements.
You may have degenerative changes in your spine. This is not unexpected as the spine, unfortunately, does not stay pristine throughout our life. I'd advise talking to your doctor for further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
