What Does this ultrasound Scan Result Mean?
The results of my scan is this. USS shows a bulky size anteverted uterus with AP.diameter of5.4cm. The uterine outline is irregular. The echo pattern is heterogeneous . The myometrium is expanded by solid tissues myoma/mass with AP diameter of 3.7cm intramural in the anterior wall. Pouch of Douglas and adnexae are partially obliterated by uterine bulky. No free pelvic collection is sighted. No cyst, no cyesis, no retained product sighted.

Your ultrasound finding suggests uterus is enlarged in size and there is 3.7 cm fibroid in anterior wall of the uterus.
Fibroid is a benign tumour of uterus and its treatment depend upon many things like age,symptoms,family is completed or not.
Fibroid can be managed by conservative means or by surgery.
It need proper evaluation.
Other findings are normal.
There is no cyst in adnexa and there are no signs of pregnancy is present scan.
