What Does this ultrasound Test Result Mean?

Good evening. My ultrasound result has identified that I have anterior and posterior myomas, the largest is located posteriorly measuring 2.9 cm x 2.0 cm x 2.0 cm. Would you recommend complete hysterectomy in this case? What would be its effect. I am 48 years old with 2 children.

Hello,
Wellcome to HCM
Myomas or fibroids are benign soft tissue tumors most commonly found in uterus.
The presence of myomas or fibroid in uterus is a common finding and just its presence does not make it a compulsion that surgery is needed.
The fibroids with no symptoms are generally not operated and are left behind as they are not harmful as such.
But in case of symptomatic fibroids intervention is needed which could be in the form of medications or surgery.
I will suggest you to consult a gynaecologist for the same along with all you previous reports and detailed history to decide further action.
