What Does Bilateral Renal Parenchymal Disease In Test Report Indicate?
Am a 70 year old female Chinese decent. Went for a scan TRO kidney stones. Everything ticked is normal. Under USG KUB REPORT . All normal. But under the Impression column is Bilateral renal parenchymal disease column for recommendation is left blank. What does it indicate?
Hi I have gone through your report. Donot worry. they kept blank means usually it is normal.Renal parenchymal changes means in response to decreased function of kidneys ,creatinine will be increased which indirectly reflects in scan as increased echotexture.some times in severe cases we see in USG scan as decrease in size of kidneys with irregular margins. As it not mentioned means might be normal.if you are anxious of it ,please go once for serum creatinine. thank you Regards Vasundhara
