What Does CT Scan Showing Spots On Kidneys And Lung Indicate?

Hi My husband has a kidney stone. We went to the ER they did ct-scan. Now the urologist wants to see him they found a spot on one of the kidneys. What does this mean. They also a while back 6 months found 3 small spots on the lung. There watching that.

Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i must advise you that, a white spot in kidney, is likely to be a stone. But, as the junior doctor isn't sure, the Urologist may want to clear any doubt, regarding less common condition,like a tumor.
This is because, he also has spots in his lung according to you. Were the spots in chest, seen on a X-ray or CT scan.
