Hello,
You had an
MRI. Your MRI shows possibility of
demyelinating disease. Damage to the myelin around the nerves is
demyelination. Myelin is an insulating material of the nerves. When it’s worn away or damaged, nerves deteriorate, causing problems in the brain and the body. Myelin allows a nerve signal to travel faster. In unmyelinated neurons, a signal can travel along the nerves slow (small focus ventricular signal).
In a myelinated neuron, the signal can travel 100 meters per second. Demyelination slows down messages sent along axons and causes the axon to deteriorate. Depending upon the location of the damage, axon loss can cause problems in co-ordination and various activity. Certain medical conditions can damage myelin, get clinically examined so that the pathology causing the symptoms can be treated at the earliest.
Chronic
ischemia is the clinical condition that causes a deficient blood supply to a certain territory, of progressive establishment. Chronic ischemia of the extremities occurs as a consequence of the slow and progressive decrease of blood flow and
oxygen supply. Get treated before the symptoms get worse.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
