What Does PET Scan Saying Normal Activity Seen In Osseous Structures Mean?

I have been having chemo therapy and have completed the series. I had a PET scan last week and the results became available today. We are treating for non-Hodgkin s lymphoma: Impression: 1. There is no malignant lymphadenopathy seen. 2. There is normal activity seen throughout the osseous structures. I need an explanation on #2. This is from the results.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The PET scan is within normal limits. It means that there is no evidence of metastasis from lymphoma in bone or other soft tissues and organs in body.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
