What Does PPD Skin Test Showing Red Colour With X-ray Result Of Calcified Density In Lungs Indicate?
hi! im a 28 year old female, asian, with chest xray result of calcified density in the lungs, left apex.. also written PON PCS, what does it mean. i have no history of TB, but recently, my doctor ordered for PPD skin test, which will be due this monday afternoon, and right now, it is red in color. what does it mean? im a nurse but im confused. i am applying for visa in Saudi Arabia to work there as a nurse.

i have gone through your query and concerned
you being asian there is high chance of you being infected with TB unknown to you and it might have subsided leaving calcified density in your lungs
as you are saying a ppd test was done and redness is noted ,dont bother about redness if there is induration greater than 10 mm then you need to be suspicious of having tbor latent tb
