What Does Postsurgical Changes In The Sinuses Mean?
I had a CT scan of my paranasal sinuses today, due to chronic cough for 7mos and I also have chronic sinusitis...the impressions were 1. Postsurgical changes in the sinuses...(I ve had 3 sinus surgeries)..2. Mild maxillary sinus mucosal thickening 3. Thickening of the mucosa of the right, middle and iferior nasal turbinates....does this mean possible surgery again?
No , it does not mean any more surgery and you can relax although the mucosal thickening ( tissue ) in the maxillary sinus is a bit worrisome and may indicate a chronic infection of your sinuses. I would like you to try two natural remedies , first one is yoga specially pranayama and the second one is called "jal Netti " , you can google these and try them. They will help you. Thanks
