My primary doc said my recent urinalysis showed RBC. He said to see a urologist. He put me on Bactrim DS last week because I had UTI symptoms...painful & frequent urination with blood on the last few drops or urine stream & when wiping. Can I just redo the urinalysis since I am asymptomatic now?
Hi If you have seen blood by your naked eyes then despite your age and despite it being an urinary tract infection and even if the repeat urine analysis is negative, you will need full evaluation by an urologist.
