Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

40-50 red blood cells per high power field indicates microscopic hematuria. If this your only symptom, i.e. you do not experience abdominal pain, have a palpable mass, abnormal blood tests or urinalysis (apart from rbc), you should not worry. You could have another urinalysis in a few months time, but the risk of you being sick is lower than 1 in 1000.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
