What Does SGOT 71 & SGPT 48 Suggest?
I am a 48 year old woman - had a hysterectomy 10 years ago I currently take armour 90 mg a day for my thyroid and use the vivelle dot .1 mg as well as prometrium 100 mg daily.I have had labs done and my SGOT came back at 71 and my SGPT came in at 48 - I am not a hevay drinker maybe a glass of wine every couple of days or a couple of beers occasionally. Can you advise?I weigh around 117 and I am 5'2"

I really appreciate your concern, it is not the high value of the liver enzyme, however the high value could be indicative liver pathology and most of the time it is the viral infection but it is nothing to worry if no clinical symptoms are there, hope this information helps.
