Hi I am sudha aged 30, got married 1 yrs back and we r trying to concive. doctor asked me to do TB test and my TB-IGG is 0.99 OD ratio (Range : equivocal - 0.90-1.10 OD ratio) and IGM is 1.11 OD ratio (Range : positive morethan 1.10 OD ration). what is the impact of this ??

The most common cause of infertility in female in india is tuberculosis. Tuberculosis antibody testing is rightnow banned by who. because in the country like india it is more frequent that you get infected by Tb bacilli. Even though you are positive with IgM and Equivocal with Ig G it is adviced you to go for other tests. Genexpert this test is very quick give you a result in 2 hours though it is somewhat costly. other thing you go for Tb culture. this tests give you best diagnosis along with anti tubercular drug sensitivity.
