What Does TSH Level 7.7 In The Report Suggest?

I am 45 days pregnant. I tested +ve in the home pregnancy test. I am hypothyroid and I take Eltroxin 50mcg everyday. I just had my thyroid tested, and my values are TSH- 7.7, T4-0.4. Is my levels ok? Am I facing any risks? Do I have to see an endocrinologist or a gyneac right now? Pls advice.

Congratulation for your pregnancy.Is your first pregnancy?How many years you are treatment for hypothyroid?
TSH during pregnancy recommended to kept on target as follows
0.1 to 2.5 in the first 3 month
0,2 to 2,5 in the second threemonths and o,3 to 3 in last 3 months
In your case its important to adjust Eltoxin 50mcg to 100mcg once pregnancy is suspect.
At case that pregnancy is confirmd it is strongly recommended to cosult an endocrinologist .It is very important throughout pregnancy to ensure TSH is maintained in the rang.
Please do not hesitate to ask for further suggestions.
