What Does TSH Result Mild Anisopoikilocytosis Mean?
hii..my baby has completed 5 months..she usec to choke for 2-3 min n then vomit, had her TSH done..n her result saidRBCs show mild anisopoikilocytosis with mild hypochromia. Microcytes are present. Platelets appear adequate on smear. wat does this mean?
Anisopoikilocytosis means that her blood has red blood cells of different shapes and sizes. Hypochromia means that the red blood cells are lighter than they should be because they have less hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is what carries Oxygen in your blood. Microcytes are small red blood cells.
