USG abdomen and pelvis is ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis. It is a method by which images of organs in the abdomen are taken from the surface using sound waves which cannot be heard by humans. It is a very useful investigation to pick up problems with liver, kidneys, pancreas, gall bladder, urinary bladder and bowel.
