What Does A An Itchy Rash On The Vagina Indicate?

Hi I have a patch on my vagina lip( right ) , it s round and appears to be puss filled . Sometimes it bleeds , other times it just itches. Unfortunately it s been there for over 2 years and seems to be getting bigger . Also I have another patch near the opening on the lower left side too . It s hairless flesh colored and itches . I m currently not sexually active , ( 3 months ) only oral sex, no penial penetration. Thank you in advance !

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because the lesion has been there for years you will need to see a doctor and have a visit to have a clear diagnosis.

Sometimes biopsy might be needed to rule out tumours in the area especially in cases of lesions lasting for months to years and growing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
