I have a big bump that popped up on my leg it had a small white head on it I popped it and the brown stuff started coming out then I waited till later to do it again and whitish brown stuff started coming out and it hurts really bad I can barely walk I have never had staff but I have been bit by two spiders befor but I cant remember what it looked like can u help me do I need to have this looked at our what?
Possible diagnostic options of the lump in your leg are: 1) Infected furuncle 2) Infected epidermoid cyst 3) Infected lipoma 4) Infected carbuncle
You need to see a general surgeon to get that lump examined and if necessary excised and the fluid is sent for histopathology examination. As it's already open, please do not delay anymore. For the time being you can use: 1) Antibiotic Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid 2) Tab. Serratiopeptidase
But please do see your surgeon as soon as possible. It is a minor procedure and you don't need to panic.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
