What Does A Blood Sugar Level Of 192 Indicate?

Hi My name is nurulla i have a query regarding my mother we did blood test by yesterday at 5.30 PM found 192 blood level and urin level 4+ before giving the test she had taken orange and some tea and had a good lunce at 2.30 Pm , Please advise she have diabetic.

Hi Nurulla,
The usual post prandial blood sugar test is done after 2 hours post food intake. But considering it was 3 hours past lunch, we could consider it a random blood sugar. And a random blood sugar of 192 (1) FBS: Fasting blood sugar; preferably a morning blood collection after 8 hours food free interval
2)HbA1c: Gives an estimate idea about glucose control over the past 3 months
