What Does A Boil On The Big Toe Indicate?
I appear to have a boil of swelling on the top of my big toe that has now grown from the nail across the top of the toe to the base of the foot. I had noticed redness last night. This morning what appeared to be a swollen puss bubble and now a good inch and a half sized bubble.

As per your description, it seems like you have an infected boil on the big toe and antibiotic therapy is required. Consult a general practitioner and start on antibiotics at the earliest. If there is pus collection, it has to be drained.
