What Does A Bruise At A Blood Withdrawal Site On The Arm Indicate?

I ha blood drawn yesterday for routine tests (approx 5 vials) as i take Crestor. I also routinely take lo dose aspirin so tend to bruise easily. I have a bruise about the size of a quarter, raised, at the site and today notice a bruise on the opposite side of my arm (which might be coincidental). My arm is a little stiff and uncomfortable. Do I need to have a doctor look at this? Thank you.

No. The bruise will subside soon after a series of color changes. You can apply thrombofob ointment there. It usually occurs due to a difficult vein or maybe you did not press it for long enough after sampling.
