What Does A Bruise On The Right Ankle Indicate?

I have a bruise on the front of my right ankle, I have had it more than 3 weeks. I don’t remember hitting it. When I wear a tie up shoe it will be blood red where the laces touch the top/ front of my ankle. I am using arnicare gel on it. It isn’t- painful. Should I see my personal care physician about it

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can consider monitoring if the area is small, not enlarging or not painful or tender.

If it is large or worsening, then you should be seen.

As much as possible avoid applying too much pressure to the affected area.

I hope this helps
