What Does A Bulging Mass On The Lower Back Indicate?

I have a hx of breast cancer. R Mastectomy 2012. L mastectomy 2014. Currently have a 3-4 inch slighly bulging mass on my L back near my scapula. I was just checking for symptoms of other cancers and see that Kidney Ca is a possibility. It is not painful. Have an previously scheduled appt with my oncologist next Monday. Should I make a earlier appointment?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, yes, you need to get it reviewed by a surgeon or oncologist and biopsy may be needed. It can be simple lipoma but keeping the history in view any signs of metastasis should be ruled out. X-ray and CT chest may also be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.\
