What Does A Bump Between The Anus And Vagina Indicate?

I have this bump in between my anus and vagina. It grew a lot from three days ago which is when I discovered it. It looks like a bug bite, it produces a bit of heat. It s painful to touch it. What is it and how can I treat it? I m very scared to go to a dermotoligist or something because I m embarrassed they see me... down there.

Thanks for the concern. i understand your concern.
The body part between vagina & anus is called perinium. The bump on this part indicates possibility of-
- Perineal cyst or abscess...caused by irritation/ itching of the part to cause sore skin which causes cyst in the skin. When this gets infected by bacteria an abscess develops.
home management would be hot compresses / fomentation . A pill of anti inflammatory pill over the counter ( like Ibuprofen ) taken after meals twice a day.. can relieve it.
But if it does not / you have itching in the area- you need consultation of a lady physician.
- Another possibility is of - External hemorrhoid- which is a protruded blood vessel near anus .
Home care consists of taking Sitz ( siting in comfortably warm water.
* You would now understand that finding the exact cause is important here. So if you don't have relief in 2-4 days you should consult a lady surgeon... ( no need of getting embarrassed ) or abscess may need to be treated by antibiotics & drained/ external pile would need more specific treatment.
