Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
bump on forehead on left side doctor sent me for ex ray , said it was hardening of the bone but every 4 weeks it fills with fluid. then it goes down past the temple and then into the eyelid which swells enormously next the fluid swells below the eye so much that the skin seems that it will burst open, next it goes into the cheek it also goes across the bridge of my nose.
The way you are explaining the bump or cyst is not even typical dermoid cyst or anything else for us to comment about. First, we need some photographs to check the location and extent of it.
If it is dermoid cyst, then it remnant left behind which has to be removed surgically but it does not cross nasal bridge and all.
So it is better you send us some photographs which can help us in the diagnosis of your problem and give correct advice accordingly. If its cyst, it can always be removed surgically.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
