What Does A Bump On The Penis Shaft Be Treated?

I have a bump on the shaft of my penis where the skin attaches to the head close to the opening and the foreskin. What could this be? It itches when I need to urinate. I have a similar spot on my scrotum. Could this be linked to masturbating too much?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
There are many things that can cause bumps on the penis and scrotum. It is not likely from masturbation. It can be something simple like a skin tag or something infectious like a sexually transmitted infection or genital warts.
It is best to see a doctor who can look at this in person and give you a diagnosis and suggest appropriate treatment.
