Hello,
The various reasons for toe discoloration could be:
1) If your toenail turns black, it’s most likely a
bruise under the nail, technically called a
subungual hematoma. It is caused due to trauma.
2) Black toe nail is also seen in
fungal infection and chronic ingrown toe nail.
3) Yellow toe nails are seen in fungal infections
4) Green toe nails are seen in chloronychia an infection.
5) Blue toe nails are seen in cellular blue nevus.
6) Toenail that’s turned white, or has large powder-like patches indicate You could have a fungal infection, most likely one called white superficial
onychomycosis.
You may once see a
dermatologist to find out the specific cause and appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
