What Does A Clot On The Uterus Lining On An Ultrasound Report Suggest?
Hello. My girlfriend and i had sex when she was on the last days of her period and she had to take emergency contraceptive after 2 days. One and half week later she gets her period again which lasts for 1 week.. we again have sex during which the condom breaks, i change it and am sure that i did not come. Its already been 5 weeks since then and she has not get her mense yet. On ultrasound the doctor said the ‘baby sac’ is empty but there is a small kind of clot on the uterus lining. What is it? Is it pregnancy? Please note that my girlfriend suffers from anemia
It may be sac if fetal pole appears or it may be a collection. Please get it done urine and blood pregnancy tests. If they negative then repeat after 2-3 days and one week. Then repeat ultrasound abdomen.
It is maybe endometriosis or adhesion etc. Please consults your gynaecologist she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
