What Does A Cyst On The Middle Finger Indicate?
I have a cyst under my middle finger on my left hand. It has been there for about a year. 10 months ago I went to a dr and he froze it then squeesed about 1 cc of clear gel from it. Since then about every week or so I use a needle to open it and squeeze more gel from it to relieve the pressure. Any suggestions? It doesn’t hurt much and it is barely discolored. More annoying than anything. Without relieving the pressure it does get inflamed.

Yes, it is better to release the pressure with a needle but it should be sterile.
Care should be always taken to use a fresh needle and then puncture it to remove fluid and then dress it with an antibiotic cream or iodine ointment and then cover it.
