My son age 3yrs.On his 1year old there was a cyst(benign) in his soft palate near uvula.The cyst removed automatically but now there is a small hole/cleft in his soft palate.His uvula is also bifid. He has no problem to eat,drink and hearing.He can speak but some words are nasal accent.What to do?

The problem you have described seems like something called fissured palate. It is generally harmless condition and get corrected as child grows further. In some cases surgical repair maybe needed. Generally it won’t cause any problems. In some children it may cause recurrent infections, nasal tone of voice, and aspiration. In that case surgical correction may be needed. Consult an ENT surgeon and get evaluated.
