What Does A Dark And A Light Pink Line In HPT Kit Indicate?

Hi. I am Ritu. I have a delay of 2 days in my menstrual period. I had a pregnancy test today early morning with prega news test kit. After putting few drops of urine sample, it showed me one dark pink colour line and other light pink colour line. What does it mean? Am I pregnant?

Hi there, Dear Ritu,
I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) I will suggest you to repeat the urine pregnancy test again after 5 days.this will confirm the pregnancy .

3 ) as such two lines are indicative of pregnancy.
Faint line at T spot indicates positive test.
Colour of the test line depends on the level of the hormone HCG.
It can be faint due to early pregnancy, dilute urine .

4 ) With the history of missing your regular periods, history of unprotected sex in the fertile period of cycle, two lines on the pregnancy kit indicate pregnancy.

5 ) In ccase of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
