What Does A Disappearing Positive Indicator On Pregnancy Test Kit Indicate?
I am 2 and a half weeks late. I took 2 pregnancy test and they both came up as an error. I took another one and the test had a positive line that then disappeared after a minute. I have been having symptoms of being pregnant for about a week and a half now. I can t get in to see my obgyn for another month though.
A pregnancy test disappearing just after a minute, are not likely due to pregnancy. Positive lines do not disappear so early on pregnancy kit (particularly during specified period mentioned on the kit). However, evaporation line may be present. But evaporation lines are not as bold as positive lines of pregnancy.
These are just faint streaks which are colorless and not any indication of a positive pregnancy. In all doubtful cases a repeat test after some time is advised. However, if a test is negative even after 3 weeks of your last expected date of menses, it should be clearly interpreted as negative.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
