What Does A Dominant Follicle In The Left Ovary Indicate?

I am 5 weeks pregnant, and before that my family doctor found a 2cm Dominant Follicle my left ovary, but after all the MRI and Ultrasound , he said that no need to worry. he also said it will disappear with my regular period and come back again another one next month. so is that thing will be a bad thing during my whole pregnancy?
