What Does A Dull Pain In Chest And Metallic Taste In Mouth Indicate?

Hi, I m 19 years and a few weeks ago I had a dull pain in my chest. Breathing was fine and nothing else was bothering me so straighten up incase it was cramp. This lasted about 30 mins when it eventually got better. Earlier today I had the exact same pain lasting the same time however I ve had a metallic taste in my mouth. Are they connected and what could it be?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The metallic taste could be because of the use of certain drugs like metronidazole.
antihypertensives like lisinopril, fosinopril, enalapril, trandolapril, quinapril and ramipril. Anticancer drugs and antihistamines can also cause metallic taste. The metallic taste should return back to normal after stopping the medicines, it might take maximum of two weeks. If it does not subside then you consult a oral physician. The other possible cause of metallic taste can be any pus discharge secondary to gum or tooth infection. So consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.
