My mom is 62 years old and was diagnosed with stg 1B cervical cancer last year. No family history. She received 29 external radiations and 48 hours internal radiation, plus 6 chemos. No hysterectomy was performed. She has been following up at md anderson and after receiving all the treatments she shows no cancer. She went today and they said her cervix was more firm than it was the last time, which was 3 months ago...What does this mean?

What Does A Firm Cervix Indicate?
Cervix is firm means - is less soft or its more hard than before, but it is possiblly post radiotherapy effect. it does not mean recurrence of cancer.
