What Does A Flap Of Skin On The Back Of The Mouth Indicate?

i have a flap of skin on the back of my mouth , i can move it with my tongue looks like a skin tag with a skinny root and a rounded end its the same color as the rest of my inner cheek. at first it felt like i had a piece of hair stuck in the cheek of my mouth. i have skin tags on the outside of my body this looks suspiciously similar in shape.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a flap of skin a flap of skin on the back of mouth with skinny root and rounded and as same colour as that of cheek seems to be due to Fibroma formation that is due to overgrowth of fibrous tissue in that area and the cause for it can be continuous irritation in that area..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be done..
In case if fibroma is diagnosed then it has to be removed by a small surgical procedure..
It can also be further sent for biopsy to rule out the exact nature of the lesion..
