Hello,
It is not uncommon to bleed with ovulation. Around the time of ovulation, the hormone
estrogen will suddenly rise, and then drops. The drop in estrogen can temporarily destabilize the lining of the
uterus like happens when you have a real period, and so it sheds a bit, causing bleeding. It usually lasts 1/2 day to 3 days. Bleeding with ovulation is usually light.
If bleeding is heavy, it would be good to be checked out as this sometimes is an indicator of fibroids, polyps, or other structural problems of the uterus and it's lining.
The sore breasts and feeling tired is not uncommon when the hormones of ovulation are high, in particular the hormone
progesterone. This is not abnormal.
If the stomach pain is in the area of the right or left side of the pelvis, that may be from ovulation. There is even a name for this -
mittelschmerz - and it is from the egg breaking out of the ovary. It usually lasts anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. If the pain lasts longer than this OR is severe or increases in severity then it would be important to get checked out promptly as abdominal or
pelvic pain can be from things other than ovulation that may be concerning.
If you are trying to conceive (I imagine you are if you are taking an ovulation test) good luck to you. I hope this information helped.
