Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data like age, purpose of doing these tests, any associated symptoms ???
T3-Uptake test measures the amount of
thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG) in the serum. When TBG is decreased, T3 uptake is increased, and vice versa.
This is an indirect measure of thyroid hormone levels. It has nothing to do with T3, despite the name and it does not measure the level of T3 or T4 in serum.
Increased levels are found in
hyperthyroidism, lung disease and certain cancers.
Free T4 is the most accurate assessment of thyroid hormone levels, because it avoids changes in plasma protein binding capabilities.
You are advised to consult an endocrinologist/physician for further clinical evaluation and possible anti-thyroid medications.
Hope this answers your query.
