What Does A Hole Between The Thumb And Index Finger Indicate?
I have a hole between my thumb and index finger. I had it for about five years. I am on statins because of my cholesterol, Zocor and Lipitor at different times. I seem to remember having seen that some statins can on occasion cause muscle loss. Is that correct?
You are taking atorvastatin drug for high cholesterol which is an excellent drug for reducing cholesterol level. Atorvastatin drug in few patients can lead myopathy, and muscle pain can occur. But it doesn't lead this side effect in all patient. If you suffer any muscle pain then consult your doctor for that. For your whole that you have mentioned local part x-ray beneficial.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
