What Does A Hole In The Right Ear Indicate?

I have big center hole in my right ear. Doctor advised Tympanoplasty 3 years ago with taking out skin from thigh scared me off. Hence I denied surgery. But us it possible yo find cadaver ear drum as I heard about lot of company in business and selling human recovered tissue and parts. For this where and how to start? Should I ask my doctor this option or contact some bio-Pharma company?

Hi,

For perforation in ear drum graft commonly taken from trgaus or temporalis fascia. It is safe operation and no need to worry regarding that. Cadaver and bio synthetic graft not giving much desirable result as compare to own body graft. You can discuss all option with your otorhinolaryngologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
