Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

I can understand your concern for the hot spot above ankle. After analyzing your query it appears to be related to either simple insect bite or mild t moderated inflammation of the hair root. You have not enumerated your age, gender and related medical history so that I could have helped you better.
IN such kind of cases there is nothing to be worried about. I suggest you to apply calamine lotion or a plane steroid based cream over the affected area. Do not try to pinch or pop the area as can get infected.

All the best.
