What Does A Large Lump On The Head Of A Child Indicate?
Hi, Just gave birth by c section Monday November 21,2016 . Yesterday I noticed a large lump on the top left hand side of my daughters head. She doesn t seem to be bothered by it and it is soft not hard. There is no redness but I am nervous as to what it could be. Have read several posts saying it wasn;t completely abnormal but wasn t sure. Please if you can give some insight as to what I should do. Thanks

It could be a scalp hematoma and is quite common after a difficult delivery. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult a paediatrician and get evaluated.
