What Does A Large Yellowish Hard Spot On The Heel Indicate?

I have a large yellowish hard spot on my heel of my right foot. When I ask what it is people say it is a heel spur. I have a job that requires me to walk and stand all day and it is painful to walk on and in the morning it is so difficult to walk. I have a picture. Please respond ASAP

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Is it a heel spur or corn? It is difficult to differentiate the skin condition from the history you provided.

Use soft shoes at the heel pad level and avoid walking on the hard surface.

The photos are not clear for us to view. Please take an ankle X-ray. Consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
