What Does A Lump Above On The Head Above The Right Ear Indicate?

Woke up and found a bump on the right side on my head just above my right ear just inside my hairline...hurts to the touch in a way similar to having hit ur head and have a bump...no liquid in it ...just burns from time to time...especially when i am stressed

Considering your description this may be benign subcutaneous lesion such as lipoma, fibroma or atheroma and if there are no skin changes such as redness, pus discharge or pain and fever then you should not be worried since it can be easily surgically removed under local anesthesia. Then it there are doubts it can be sent to the patohistologic analysis.
