What Does A Lump In The Armpit Indicate?

Hi, I recently noticed a lump, about the size of a fifty-cent piece, under my armpit level with my nipple, closer to the front of my chest. My nipple also itches and appears to be a bit puffy. I am a 59 year old man who has always been in great health.

Hi i do care for your concern.
The history suggest more of an infection.
I would suggest
Having a course of antibiotics such as amox along with antacids for five days.
considering the age do check for blood glucose levels.
Consider antiseptic containing soap for bathing.
