Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I discovered a lump last evening on the upper right leg on the inside against my groin area. It hurts some and is somewhat red. It s irritating and it feels the size of a golf ball. Would I contact my regular family doctor or my gynecologist? I m worried it might be a blood clot even though it s not angry red or hot to the touch.
I would advise you to meet your general practitioner doctor to evaluate your ailment by physically examining you so that you are treated timely as there can be an infective process going on.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Maryum
